After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lanier, Seguin was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Jefferson Mustangs. This was payback for Seguin, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Seguin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Jefferson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Seguin and Jefferson will both be playing Edison the next time they take the pitch. The Mustangs will host the Golden Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Matadors will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
