Baseball Recap: Hillside Takes a Loss

Hillside's last matchup with Southeast Raleigh could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Hillside Hornets lost 10-0 to the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs. The Hornets have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Southeast Raleigh, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillside will venture away from home to take on Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Raleigh, they will head out on the road to challenge Enloe at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southeast Raleigh is facing Enloe at the right time seeing as Enloe is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
