Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tocoi Creek). Everything went their way against the Fernandina Beach Pirates on Monday as the Tocoi Creek Toros made off with a 5-1 victory. The Toros' winning goal came courtesy of Mckenna Lukanich.

The win made it two in a row for Tocoi Creek and bumps their season record up to 3-5-2. As for Fernandina Beach, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-3-1 record.

After both having extra time off, Tocoi Creek and Menendez will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:20 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Fernandina Beach will take on Stanton in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fernandina Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
