Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grace Academy can now relate to. They fell to the Providence Prep Rams 36-31. Grace Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Providence Prep earlier this season, when they won 40-33.

Providence Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilly Hodge out in front who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Hodge is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elle Morrison, who earned seven points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Grace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Providence Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Grace Academy nor Providence Prep have any future games scheduled.
