Basketball Recap: Mossyrock Takes a Loss

Mossyrock won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 69-36 defeat at the hands of the Adna Pirates. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adna to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavan Muller, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Trevin Salme, who went 6 for 11 en route to 15 points.

Mossyrock dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Adna, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

Mossyrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adna, they will take on Morton/White Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Adna's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
