Maysville is 9-1 against Crooksville since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will challenge the Ceramics at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Maysville saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of John Glenn. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Little Muskies: they've now lost four in a row.

JAKE DEAL put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Crooksville's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Frye on Monday. The Ceramics just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Maysville's record now sits at 6-15. As for Crooksville, their record is now 6-14.

Maysville beat Crooksville 12-8 when the teams last played on Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
