Soccer Game Preview: Pensacola vs. Pensacola Catholic

Pensacola is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Walton, sneaking past 4-3. Considering the Tigers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Pensacola Catholic put another one in the bag last Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Freeport an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won nine contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Freeport from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Addison Manning led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Pensacola Catholic's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 65 goals over those 12 matches. As for Pensacola, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.
