Springtown won the last time they faced Godley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Porcupines blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Porcupines.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14, 25-19.

Leading Springtown to victory were Bailey Walker and Kallie Conway. Walker had 11 assists and two aces, while Conway had ten assists and five digs.

They weren't the only good server: Springtown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Springtown has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Godley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Springtown is taking a road trip to take on Azle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Godley, they will take on Boyd in a tournament on Friday.
