Softball Recap: South Dade Comes Up Short

South Dade and Coral Reef squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but South Dade had to settle for second. They came up short against the Barracudas, falling 16-0. The Buccaneers were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Barracudas' pitchers proved too tough.

With the defeat, South Dade broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-11. As for Coral Reef, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.
