Basketball Recap: Compass Academy Gets the Win

Compass Academy hadn't done well against Crane recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Compass Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-42 win over the Crane Cranes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Compass Academy has posted since December 17, 2024.

The win got Compass Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Crane, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Compass Academy will face off against Stanton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Compass Academy is facing Stanton at the right time seeing as Stanton is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Crane, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lamesa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
