Baseball Recap: Rudyard Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rudyard's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Petoskey Northmen on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Rudyard's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Petoskey, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Rudyard will face off against Newberry at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. Petoskey has already played their next contest (against Boyne City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
