Preview: Brantley County Herons vs. Bacon County Raiders
The Brantley County Herons have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Bacon County Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
Last Friday, Brantley County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-41 to Toombs County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brantley County in their matchups with Toombs County: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Bacon County waltzed into their game Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 59-33 margin over Appling County. That 59-33 margin sets a new team best for Bacon County this season.
Brantley County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Bacon County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
