Basketball Recap: Ponder Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ponder can now relate to. They came up short against the Tatum Eagles on Tuesday, falling 73-53. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 295th, while the Eagles are ranked 103rd).

Ponder's loss dropped their record down to 23-12. As for Tatum, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-2.

As of now, neither Ponder nor Tatum have any future games scheduled.
