Omaha North has gone 3-0 against Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Omaha North Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Columbus Discoverers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Omaha North took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over Bellevue East.

Omaha North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dontae Mcdowell, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points. Sam Cooper also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Columbus can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Norfolk by a score of 62-53.

Columbus found their leader in freshman Jaxson Vasicek, who went 6 for 11 en route to 16 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Quinn Freshour, who posted eight points and seven assists.

Omaha North's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Columbus, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Omaha North strolled past Columbus when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 78-63. Will Omaha North repeat their success, or does Columbus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
