Delta has gone a perfect 6-0 against Alamosa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Mean Moose at 7:00 p.m. Delta knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Alamosa likes a good challenge.
Delta's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Rawlins 58-0. That 58 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Deacon Shean had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 171 receiving yards and four TDs. Those 171 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.
Delta was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
Delta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jp Gallegos and TE/LB Morfitt. Morfitt got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Alamosa came up short against Pueblo Central two weeks ago and fell 21-14. The Mean Moose haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Although Alamosa took the loss, they still got scores from Victor Zepeda and Aj Baker.
Delta pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Alamosa, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Delta has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 188.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Alamosa struggles in that department as they've been averaging 203.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Delta against Alamosa when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 41-12 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
