Volleyball Recap: Leyton Comes Up Short

Leyton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Kimball Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14.

Macey Roelle paced Leyton's offense, picking up four kills. Roelle got some help from Auvi Cranmore and her four assists.

Leyton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Kimball, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Leyton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Minatare on the 27th. As for Kimball, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pine Bluffs on the 30th.
