Volleyball Recap: Hobart Beats Hammond Central for Their Third Straight Win

Hobart waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Hammond Central Wolves by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Brickies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 28-26, 23-25, 25-15, 25-14.

Alissa Hope paced Hobart's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hope got some help from Kalli Butcher and her 18 assists. Butcher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Hobart's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Hammond Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.

Hobart has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Hanover Central on the 7th. As for Hammond Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lake Station Edison on the 9th.
