Softball Game Preview: Williamson Marauders vs. Sodus Spartans

Williamson fell victim to North Rose-Wolcott and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Marauders were not able to get on the board.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Sodus and East Rochester have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Spartans blew past the Bombers 22-4. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won six matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Williamson's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Sodus, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
