Platteview kept a clean sheet against Gross Catholic on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Platteview, who have now won six matches by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Gross Catholic with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylee Tex (2), Sophia Morrison, and Shaylla Hobbs.

Platteview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five games. As for Gross Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Platteview will face off against Elkhorn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elkhorn will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Platteview surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gross Catholic, they will take on Conestoga at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
