Polytech won the last time they faced Seaford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bluejays 2-1.

Polytech secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Deacon Herring, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Ethan Garcia also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Polytech's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Seaford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Polytech will take on Cape Henlopen at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seaford, they will face off against Woodbridge at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
