Football Game Preview: Sandalwood Saints vs. Fletcher Senators

The Sandalwood Saints will head out to face off against the Fletcher Senators at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fletcher took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sandalwood, who comes in off a win.

Sandalwood will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating ED White, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Sandalwood came out on top against ED White by a score of 13-6 on Friday.

The critical scores for Sandalwood came from Kayla Dobson and Ashley Purdy.

Meanwhile, Fletcher came up short against Stanton on Thursday, falling 26-6. The loss continues a trend for the Senators in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost five in a row.

The victory got Sandalwood back to even at 1-1. As for Fletcher, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Sandalwood lost to Fletcher on the road by a decisive 26-7 margin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Fletcher's Jasmine Cross, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes, and also rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown.
