Basketball Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

Raytown was the 65-42 winner over Blue Springs South when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Raytown Bluejays took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Springs South Jaguars. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raytown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Blue Springs South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Raytown will head out to square off against Belton at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Blue Springs South, they will welcome Staley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Blue Springs South knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Staley likes a good challenge.
