Softball Recap: Oceanside Collegiate Academy Wins Going Away Against Battery Creek

After only one run in their last game, Oceanside Collegiate Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Battery Creek on Tuesday. The Landsharks put the hurt on the Dolphins with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Landsharks have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Battery Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Battery Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-1 defeat against West Ashley on the 9th. Hopefully Oceanside Collegiate Academy payed attention to the Dolphins' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
