Monroe extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Kie'Aundria Acree. The Golden Tornadoes simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Westover Patriots 80-31 for which the team can thank Acree, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 23 rebounds. The matchup was her 57th in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Taylor Mckinzy, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 23 points and three steals. She has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Monroe's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Westover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
