Mountain View's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Rosemead Panthers 15-14. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Rosemead, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mountain View and Rosemead will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Vikings see the field they'll take on Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Rosemead, their break will end when they face Arroyo at 3:15 p.m. on the 15th.
