Softball Recap: Bozeman Comes Up Short

Bozeman was the 20-4 winner over Blountstown when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bozeman Bucks fell just short of the Blountstown Tigers by a score of 16-15 on Thursday. The Bucks' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Karlee McLean made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Caydence Corbitt was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bozeman fell to 3-1. As for Blountstown, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Bozeman has already played their next match, a 7-1 loss against Arnold on the 4th. As for Blountstown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-3 win against Cottondale on the 28th.
