Basketball Recap: Deer Park Takes a Loss

Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clear Lake Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Deer this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-33 back in December of 2024.

Zerach Scoville was the offensive standout of the game as he posted 15 points and six rebounds. Tanner Pyle was another key player, putting up ten points.

Deer Park's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Clear Lake, their record is now 19-12.

Deer Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-46 win against Brazoswood on the 29th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-66 victory against Clear Creek on the 29th.
