It was fun while it lasted, but Cornwall Central's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Monday. They fell 49-41 to the Washingtonville Wizards. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Aidan Sullivan, who posted ten points along with six assists and six rebounds. Sullivan is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Malachi Taylor was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Cornwall Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Washingtonville, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Cornwall Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-51 victory against Minisink Valley on the 9th. Washingtonville has also already played their next contest, a 60-35 win against Monticello on the 9th.
