Basketball Recap: Western Dubuque Takes a Loss

Western Dubuque lost against Kennedy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Western Dubuque Bobcats were dealt an 86-40 loss at the hands of the Kennedy Cougars. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-16.

This is the second loss in a row for Western Dubuque and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Kennedy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

When Western Dubuque and Kennedy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Western Dubuque will try to stop Dubuque Senior's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kennedy will face off against Xavier and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
