Baseball Game Preview: Reedy Lions vs. Lamar Vikings

The Reedy Lions will take on the Lamar Vikings in a tournament on Saturday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Reedy duked it out with MacArthur on Friday. Neither the Lions nor the Cardinals could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 tie.

Meanwhile, Lamar came up short against Lone Star on Friday and fell 4-1.

With that tie, Reedy's record moves to 1-2-1. As for Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Reedy beat Lamar 8-4 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
