Baseball Recap: Rosman Comes Up Short

Rosman lost against Avery County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell 13-8 to the Vikings. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Rosman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quintin Forbes, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that Forbes launched this season.

Rosman's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Avery County, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Coming up, Rosman will face off against Mountain Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Avery County, they will take on Wilkes Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
