Basketball Recap: Boulder Piles Up the Points Against Summit

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boulder). They blew past the Summit Tigers 96-37 on Monday.

Boulder's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cole Morrow, who went 10 of 21 on his way to 31 points and six rebounds. Morrow is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Lake Smith was another key player, going 6 for 12 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

The victory got Boulder back to even at 2-2. As for Summit, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Boulder will face off against Horizon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Horizon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Summit, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Adams City at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Summit is facing Adams City at the right time seeing as Adams City is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
