Volleyball Recap: Rich Township Comes Up Short

Rich Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Stagg Chargers.

Regginald Butler paced Rich Township's offense, picking up five kills. Butler got some help from Cornelius Darden and his four assists. Phillip Watkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Rich Township's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Stagg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-7.

Rich Township didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Crete-Monee on the 6th. As for Stagg, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Chicago Christian on the 5th.
