West Nodaway waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They fell 2-0 to the St. Joseph Christian Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, West Nodaway saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annalee Livengood had nine digs and four assists.

West Nodaway's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for St. Joseph Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

West Nodaway has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Nodaway on the 23rd. As for St. Joseph Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against East Buchanan on the 22nd.
