Volleyball Recap: Cardinal O'Hara Takes a Loss

Cardinal O'Hara lost against St. Mary on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hawks came up short against the Lancers, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-8, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Cameryn Wanat, who had 11 assists and seven aces. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. Kennedy Lindquist also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Cardinal O'Hara's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Mary's, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-0-1.

Cardinal O'Hara wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Nichols on the 1st. As for St. Mary's, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mount St. Mary Academy on the 2nd.
