            Softball Recap: Twin Rivers Royals vs. Malden Green Wave        
        
		
        
        
            Twin Rivers won the last time they faced Malden and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Twin Rivers blew past Malden 26-9. Fans of the Royals have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Reese Crismon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned  (and four unearned) runs off   three  hits. Crismon was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 4-for-6 with six  RBI, four  runs,  and three  doubles.
 In other batting news,  Ivy Benson was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles.  Reagan Bader was another key player,  going 4-for-5 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Twin Rivers  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 25  hits. They  got 14 more  hits than Malden's also-impressive total of 11.

The  win was  the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for Twin Rivers, bringing their record up to 3-0. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Malden, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 4-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Twin Rivers will take on Oak Ridge at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Malden, they will face off against New Madrid County Central at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The  contest will  give Malden their first taste of in-conference action this season.
