Gettysburg is 8-2 against West York Area since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. Gettysburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Gettysburg proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Hershey 3-2.

Meanwhile, West York Area didn't have quite enough to beat Kennard-Dale on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Gettysburg pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for West York Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Gettysburg beat West York Area 7-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
