It was fun while it lasted, but Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to the Bishop Seabury Academy Seahawks . The loss was the Nighthawks' first of the season.

Leading Bishop Seabury Academy to victory were Chase Honarvar and Jace Smith. Honarvar dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards, while Smith went 10 of 25 on his way to 26 points and six rebounds. Honarvar is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last 31 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Hoffman, who posted nine points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool fell to 3-1. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool will face off against St. Mary's Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they will welcome Bishop Ward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
