Mount Pleasant took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Central Cabarrus, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Mount Pleasant Tigers never let the Central Cabarrus Vikings get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Not much got past Mason Ferguson, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep Central Cabarrus off the board.
