Volleyball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Chandler

Millennium faced Chandler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tigers came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since April 8th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-17.

DJ White paced Millennium's offense, picking up 12 kills. White got some help from Lucas Chavez and his 16 assists. Chavez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Millennium's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-14. As for Chandler, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11-1 record this season.

Millennium has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Shadow Ridge on the 1st. As for Chandler, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Perry on the 1st.
