Basketball Game Preview: Kuna Kavemen vs. Eagle Mustangs

Kuna hasn't had much luck against Eagle recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Kuna Kavemen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagle Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Kuna is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Timberline, who was ranked 12th at the time (Kuna was ranked tenth). Kuna lost 63-41 to Timberline on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Kavemen have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Eagle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 59-46 to Mountain View.

This is the second loss in a row for Kuna and nudges their season record down to 11-5. As for Eagle, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
