Dynamic duo of Kaden Brown and Nick Baysah lead Howard to victory

Recap: Howard Wildcats vs. St. Georges Tech Hawks

After losing to the St. Georges Tech Hawks the last time they met, the Howard Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The stars were shining brightly for Howard in a 65-51 victory over St. Georges Tech on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Howard.

Leading Howard to victory were Kaden Brown and Nick Baysah. Brown scored 15 points along with six rebounds, while Baysah scored 20 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Teion Jenkins, who scored ten points along with three steals.

When it comes to explaining why St. Georges Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Blair Thomas. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with six rebounds. The game was Thomas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Angeloni, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds.

Even though they lost, St. Georges Tech were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Howard's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for St. Georges Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will challenge Newark at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Georges Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Havre de Grace at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Havre de Grace has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three matchups.
