Volleyball Recap: San Clemente Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Beckman

San Clemente faced Beckman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tritons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Tritons just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

While San Clemente ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17.

San Clemente's record now sits at 19-11. As for Beckman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season.

As of now, neither San Clemente nor Beckman have any future games scheduled.
