St. Andrew won the last time they faced Pinewood Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The St. Andrew's Lions blew past the Pinewood Christian Patriots 78-39. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Andrew's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zayden Edwards, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten boards, and 14 assists. Another player making a difference was Ja'Cari Glover, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Edwards wasn't the only one working in the assists department: St. Andrew's was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

St. Andrew's record now sits at 12-3. As for Pinewood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's and Hilton Head Island will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. St. Andrew's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Pinewood Christian, they will take on Bulloch Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
