Basketball Game Preview: HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots vs. City Baptist School Overcomers

HomeSchool Resource Center has gone 7-2 against City Baptist School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Patriots will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Overcomers at 7:15 p.m. HomeSchool Resource Center has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.

HomeSchool Resource Center saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to Rolla HomeSchool.

HomeSchool Resource Center might have lost, but man, Noel Green was a machine: he dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 boards. Green has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 20 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Roman Cooper, who posted ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, City Baptist School had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian.

HomeSchool Resource Center's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for City Baptist School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

HomeSchool Resource Center strolled past City Baptist School in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 45-27. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Overcomers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
