Baseball Recap: Glendora Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Glendora entered their tilt with Diamond Bar on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Brahmas. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 4-0 win last Thursday.

Tanner Grable tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Glendora is undefeated when Grable allowsone or fewer earned runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Kai Zeits was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was John Seader, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Glendora's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Diamond Bar, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Glendora will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Claremont at 3:30 p.m. on April 8. As for Diamond Bar, they will face off against Nogales at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
