Football Game Preview: West Nassau Warriors vs. Satellite Scorpions + Official Tickets

The West Nassau Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Satellite Scorpions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Nassau is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Keystone Heights: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Warriors blew the Indians out of the water with a 52-0 final score. The Warriors pushed the score to 40-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians had no chance of recovering from.

West Nassau's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Johns, who rushed for 85 yards and two TDs. Those 85 rushing yards gave Johns a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Chris Messer, who rushed for 89 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Satellite put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-8 victory over Somerset Academy Key. The game marked the Scorpions' most dominant win of the season.

West Nassau's record is now 7-1. As for Satellite, their record now sits at 7-0.
