Volleyball Recap: Caston Comes Up Short

Caston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-County Cavaliers. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cavaliers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11.

Grace Colvin paced Caston's offense, picking up five kills. Colvin got some help from Ellie Zartman and her five assists.

Caston's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Tri-County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Caston has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against DeMotte Christian on the 30th. As for Tri-County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against South Newton on the 30th.
