Baseball Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Eagles vs. Pavilion Golden Gophers
While Wayland-Cohocton's victory against Pavilion wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Golden Gophers 6-5. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Golden Gophers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Charlie Mulford was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Owen Wolfanger, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.
