Baseball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Polo Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since April 23, 2024.

Albany saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daulton Worrell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Albany and nudges their season record down to 13-12. As for Polo, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Looking ahead, Albany will take on North Harrison at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Shamrocks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.31 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. Polo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
